1ST AGGREGATE WINNER KING OF THE BEACH 81 LBS.
Winning the biggest kingfish tournament in the world called “King of the Beach” in 2015 was amazing. $27,560.00 We were fortunate enough to be able to donate $10,000 to a good friend and old teammate battling cancer. Other fishermen from around the community rallied together, turning something horrible into something BLESSED. The Old Salts foundation coordinated an auction. Fishing charters were donated, and many more donations from local businesses and private individuals as well. Another 16k more was raised our friends family to with overwhelming hospital bills. Other tournaments had fundraisers as well, adding even more support. It was an amazing snowball effect of compassion. Just being a part of such wonderful acts from the fishing community,. Our team was over whelmed by all the good things that came from this horrible disease called "cancer".
